For more than ten years behind the lens documenting weddings, cultural ceremonies, and commercial campaigns across Pakistan, Hammad Shahid noticed a recurring heartbreak.
Couples planned every detail of their wedding for months, yet the objects held during the sacred signing—the Nikkah certificate, the pen, the ring tray—were almost always flimsy, mass-produced afterthoughts picked up at the last minute.
Recognizing that these pieces symbolize the foundation of a new family, Hammad partnered with Mian Zain, a gifted graphic designer whose obsession with typography, borders, and compositional detail matched his own. Together, they established The Framers as a design-first studio where celebratory keepsakes receive museum-quality care.

Zain is the creative engine behind our in-house design studio. Every Nikkah certificate layout, custom monogram, border ornamentation, and calligraphy placement is drafted and refined by Zain and his graphics team. We refuse generic templates: every design is built from the ground up as a one-of-a-kind heirloom.
Each piece is meticulously personalized, typeset by hand, and assembled in our Lahore workshop.
